CANDLE CARE
CANDLE SAFETY
Never allow your candle to burn unattended.
Keep the candle away from things that catch fire.
Keep the candle out of the reach of children and pets.
Keep the candle away from air conditioners, fans, drafts, or highly trafficked areas.
Too much airflow around the candle will cause air flow around the candle, you will see soot appear around the glass edge.
DUST COVER
The dust cover prevents dust from settling on the wax. Remove and recycle the dust cover prior to lighting the candle for the first time. The dust cover tends to absorb the fragrance oils from the candle and can discolor over time. This has no impact on the quality of the candle.
WICK CARE
Trim the wick to 1/4" before every burn. Longer wicks will create carbon buildup at the top, which results in larger flames and smoke. Shorter wicks will ensure a consistent, clean burn that will extend the life of your candle.
BURN TIME
Be sure to burn the candle for a minimum of 2 hours, but no longer than 4 hours. Candles have a melt memory, so the entire surface of the candle needs to melt or tunneling of the wax will occur. Longer burn terms will ensure a consistent, even burn each time.
COCKTAIL HOURS
After the candle has burned completely, the handblown cocktail glass can be reused. Simply place the candle in the hot sun until the way has liquified. Wipe the interior of the glass clean. With a fork, gently pry off the metal tab holding the wick in place. Gently scrape the silicon off the glass. Wash thoroughly before use. Wishing you many happy cocktail hours!
